The Law of the Club
One page, one contract. Short, clear, for kids and parents alike.
The 5 states of a question
- Open. You stake, you change your mind (side or amount), you write a reason. No selling, ever: the pool is shared.
- Locked. The Shift lead hit “Lock” on a live question. No more stakes. It's judged on camera.
- Proposed. The Archive changed a label with evidence, or the lead wrote in a proposed outcome. An appeal window opens: the card shows the exact time it closes. Anyone holding a position can appeal, once, in two lines. Three appeals = a human steps in.
- Judged. Palms are credited automatically. Nobody has to “claim” winnings. On your next visit you see the Judgment — once.
- Voided. Everyone refunded in full, with one sentence on why. Anything that expires without a clock is voided: nobody loses.
Judgment by the clock (“if it hasn't happened by then, No wins”) lands the moment it expires — it's mechanical, no appeal needed.
The Fog
A Question's percentage stays hidden until 5 players have spoken (10 from 20 September) — or until you bet. Same symbol, same meaning everywhere: not visible yet. The masking happens on the server, not on your screen.
The pool, in numbers
You bet 5 to 100 Palms (up to 500 live in the Shift). Example: the pool holds 400 Palms, 300 on “Yes” and 100 on “No”. You put 20 on “No”. “No” comes in: the pool (420) is split pro rata among the 120 on “No” — you take 70, plus the Archive's 50% (10): 80 Palms. “Yes” comes in: you lose the 20. The “about” on the bet slip is there because the split locks when the pool closes.
Stake size counts for nothing. You rank up on correct judgments: Newcomer → Observer (1) → Detective (3) → Insider (6) → Oracle (10).
The Day and the streak
Three stops every day: the question (+10 right, +3 wrong), “Which shot?” (+5/+1), “Which label?” (+5/+1 — never with a Rumor). The first stop keeps the streak alive. Streak bonus: +5 from day 3, +10 from 7, +15 from 14, +25 from 30 — doesn't count for the league.
Passes. A day you miss doesn't break the streak if you have a Pass. You get 1 at Observer, +1 at every rank (3 max), +1 when you move up a tier, +1 when you clear all 3 Missions. A Pass is spent silently and shows as Fog on the calendar. The clean streak (no Passes) is the prestige.
Missions, the Mark, the Cabinet
Three Missions a week (Monday → Sunday 20:00): bet on 3 Questions (+15), write a reason (+15), show up for the Shift (+25). All three = +1 Pass. None of it counts for the league.
The Mark. Once a week you mark ONE of your open positions. If it lands right, the Archive's 50% becomes 100%. If it lands wrong, you lose nothing extra. Same for 5 Palms or 100 — it rewards conviction, not size.
The Cabinet. The Club's medals, with rarity (the share of players who hold each one). They arrive on their own; they're never bought.
The league and the tiers
Every week you're placed in a league of 30 players from your tier. Five Leonida tiers: Vice City Beach (nobody drops, 10 go up, the top 2 jump two), Port Gellhorn and Leonida Keys (7 up, 5 down), Ambrosia (5 up, 10 down), Grassrivers (10 down, first place is the Oracle of the Week). Promotion = +1 Pass. In a league with fewer than 5 players, nobody goes up.
Your league score is ONLY the net gain from this week's rulings. The Day, your streak and Missions don't count. Positions placed in the first 60 minutes of a new question don't count either (so nobody chases the Archive). The week closes Sunday 20:00, with the Shift.
Countries are measured on accuracy: correct judgments over total. A country enters the table at 10 players.
The Shift
Sunday 20:00, live, with the chief present. You hit “I'm in” and you're betting 2 minutes later (up to 500 Palms on live Questions). The chief locks the Question and judges on camera — no appeal window. Anything still open when the Shift closes is voided and refunded. Then the Bulletin drops: what was judged, who moved up.
Palms are not money
They can't be bought, sold, cashed out or transferred. They have no value outside the Club. You start with 100, quietly. If you run out, the Day gives you more.
Reasons
You only write a reason on top of a bet: 140 characters, no links, carrying your handle, your side and your stake. No replies, no likes — you answer with a bet and a reason of your own. Report with one tap; three reports or the chief = hidden.
A handle, not your details
The server hands you a name, “Phoenix_N”, the moment you play. Change it whenever you like. We keep only a handle, a country and a score. We never ask for a phone or a real name, never a password. The sign-in starts anonymous and lives on your device. If you are under 15, ask a parent first (Greek law 4624/2019).
Want to enter from another device too? In the Settings of Me you give an email (“Keep your account”): we send you a key and the same profile travels — handle, Palms, streak, positions. The email is never shown and we send you nothing else. What we keep and how you delete yourself: Privacy.
No private conversations
There are no direct messages. Chat opens only inside the Shift, with the chief present, one message every 8 seconds, and closes with it. Words that hurt don't get through; three reports hide a message.
What does NOT fly
- Money, gifts, crypto: never, in any form.
- A leak as fact: the Archive judges only on official evidence or the game itself.
- Foreign languages: the Club speaks Greek.
- Personal data in reasons, Theories, testimonies.
What we do with the data
We count visits with a random identifier on your device, no cookies and no ads. You can wipe it by clearing the site data. To delete your account, “Delete me” in the Settings of Me — immediately, without emailing anyone. Everything else: Privacy.
