Your console

I have a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S GTA 6 launches on these only — no PS4/Xbox One, no PC at launch. Greek prices after April's hikes: PS5 €649.99, PS5 Pro €899.99. Retailers are warning of shortages in the launch window (RAM is getting pricier worldwide) — if you want a console, don't leave it until November. There's no official PS5 + GTA 6 bundle yet. I want the limited GTA VI DualSense (optional) Two official PS5 controllers — Black and White Limited Edition — with an iridescent purple/blue center, palm trees molded into the shell and “VI” on the touchpad. €84.99. Pre-orders 10 September, 10:00, release 19 November, in limited quantities. Functionally they're standard DualSense controllers — you're buying looks, not performance. For Greece: PlayStation Direct doesn't serve the country (checked 6/9), so it's retail only — and exactly which stores hasn't been announced; we're checking again on 10/9. The black one is a PS Direct exclusive where that service exists, and everywhere else only at “selected” retailers. Evidence: #164. I have free storage Rockstar's big games eat up a lot of space. Clear out whatever you're not playing now — don't leave it for launch day. I've checked my connection On release day the networks get slammed. If you can, go wired instead of WiFi. I know where the online subscription stands GTA 6 launches as single-player — no online mode has been announced. If one lands later (like GTA 5), it'll need PS Plus / Game Pass Core. Don't pay for a subscription just for that yet.

Buying — pre-orders are open

Greece, specifically. PS5 Standard prices from 8 Greek stores (checked 19/10/2026). In August the spread was €0.49 — now it's €4.49, because a listing came in at €75.50. The top seven remain a breath away from each other: there, choose on trust, not on the chase. Official distributor of physical copies: CD Media. And remember: the “physical” box is a code, not a disc.

Store	PS5 Standard	Note
BUYBEST.GR	€75.50	The lowest — read the note below
Astrongameclub	€78.90	The lowest of the “normal” ones
Efantasy.gr	€79.79	—
You.gr	€79.79	—
Public	€79.89	—
Electrocrete	€79.90	—
Game Explorers	€79.99	—
Kotsovolos	€79.99	—

Store	DualSense GTA VI Limited (Black / White)	Note
Public — μαύρο/λευκό	€84.90	Pre-order, both shades
Κωτσόβολος — μαύρο/λευκό	€84.99	Pre-order, both shades

Why we put an asterisk on the €75.50: every listing in the table is “code in a box” — a code in a box, not a disc. The lowest one is listed as available now for a game that hasn't been released yet; the rest as pre-order. We're not saying something's wrong — we're saying that before you pay €3 less at an unknown store, it's worth checking the return policy and exactly when the code gets delivered. Watch out for imports: PS5 codes are region-locked (EU code ⇒ EU PSN account) — Xbox isn't. And something nobody tells you: Greek subtitles do NOT exist in the game's 13 languages — that's why we exist. Sources: BestPrice 19/10, official support docs.

They opened on 25 June 2026 (PS Store, Microsoft Store, retail) — and Amazon US's initial stock sold out in an hour. There are two official editions. Anything else you hear (Collector's, PS5 bundle) is a rumor.

GTA 6 Standard Edition — official cover art

Official edition

Standard — €79.99

The full game. The “$100 base edition” scare was debunked — the price landed right where the big games already were. Any purchase before 20/11 gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack free: the '55 Vapid Stanier sedan, a garage at Shore Court, retro outfits for Jason and Lucia, and a weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti.

What's inside the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition

Official edition

Ultimate — €99.99

Everything in the Standard, plus: extra vehicles (Grotti Cheetah '95, Dominator Buggy '67, Dinka Enduro), the Squalo “Jack of Hearts” boat, two exclusive side missions, perks at stores (Stock 305, Electric Fang, Rideout Customs) and safehouse content. The items unlock gradually, chapter by chapter through the story. The extra €20 buys content — not early access.

Three things before you pay: (1) Digital pre-orders also throw in a free month of GTA+. (2) The download codes in the physical PS5 edition are region-locked — watch out for imports from other countries (Xbox codes aren't locked). (3) A Collector's Edition and an official PS5 bundle don't exist — leaks only. What does exist: two official limited DualSense controllers (€84.99, pre-orders 10/9 — see “Your console” above). If anything else is announced, you'll see it in News.

I've decided whether to pre-order Retailers are warning of console and physical copy shortages in Q4. A digital pre-order guarantees preload and lets you play from the first minute. I've picked digital or disc Digital = preload, you play at 00:00 on 19 November (Greek time — what counts is your account's country, not where you are), +1 month of GTA+. Disc = resellable, but the PS5 disc has a region-locked code and needs a day 1 update.

On launch day

I've preloaded For digital pre-orders it opens on 12 November — a week before launch, confirmed by Rockstar. You don't want to be downloading while your friends are playing. I've shielded myself from spoilers Mute keywords on social, stay off recommended videos. A GTA story only plays for the first time once. I'll dial in picture and sound before I play Brightness, HDR, subtitles, controller sensitivity. 5 minutes up front saves you hours. I've bookmarked the guides The guides go live with real data on day 1: first money, first car, beginner mistakes.
